Welcome to your Meditation Moment

Spring is in the Air!                                                                                             Now is a great time to take a moment to refocus and to re Vision how you see focusing your creative self.

Say hello to your body.  I invite you to ground your body by imaging the energy from the earth flowing up your feet, legs and coming otothe base of your spine.

From the base of your spine imagine a grounding structure growing from the inside out unitl it reaches a diameter of 2-4 feet.

Now, Open your crown to divine source, invite the energy that will nourish, and sustain you to flow into your brain through your crown

Allow it to flow into your brain, down your spinal cord and into every cell of your body, recalibrating holding a new vibration for health, vitality and wholeness.  You have now connected  the energies of heaven and earth within your body

Now ask your inner wise self:

  • How do I want my life to feel?
  • What would  my life look like if it matched that feeling?
  • How do I need to BE in order to attract this life?

Place all of the information you received from your wise self  including colors, symbols, pictures, intentions, quality of feelings  and smells into a big golden bubble on top of your head.

Pop that bubble and imagine it flowing into every cell of your body.

As you exhale through your heart imagine your intentions flowing out through your heart to meet the world.

SIMPLE DAILY ADRENAL SUPPORT

What I am coming to learn and respect more and more about promoting and supporting optimal hormonal function is that the adrenals are the linchpin of the system. Our pitituary,  thyroid and adrenals glands conduct a fluid dance of  checking and balancing one another.

TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THAT DANCE LOOK FOR THEN LIVING INTUITIVE BLOG POST LATER THIS WEEK …..So if you haven’t signed up for the blog list now is a great time to do so to the right…

One of my favorite ways of supporting my own adrenal health is through herbal infusions. An herbal infusion is nothing more than a long steeping tea. These teas due to the long steeping process are rich in calcium, magnesium and other trace minerals.

HOW TO MAKE AN INFUSION

I find it is really easy to incorporate this into my bedtime routine. Put the kettle on to boil the water, brush my teeth and pour.   I use a French press that has not had contact with coffee. A one quart glass jar and a strainer work just as well

  1. Fill the container 1/3 full of dry herbs
  2. Pour the water over the herbs
  3. Cover them to allow them to steep for at least 6 hours
  4. Plunge the French press or strain the tea
I enjoy drinking mine at room temperature or in the summer I put them in the frig for a cooler drink
  5. Avoid reheating in a microwave.
  6. Honey or agave can be added for sweetning if desired

THE HERBS

Nettles strengthens the adrenal glands

Licorice root- can add flavor DO NOT ADD IF PREGNANT OR WITH HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

Commonly used Fertility Infusions

Red clover cleanse the blood and liver tastes very bitter

Nettles as above tastes green

Oatstraw sweet, calming adds libido

Raspberry Leaf- sweet, high mineral content, increases circulation to uterus

Other herbs for flavor

Mint

Lavender

Orange peel- organic

Where to get the Herbs

To try I advise going to your health food store and getting some in bulk. When you know what you like you can get them less expensive from an herbalist

I like Wish Garden Herbs 303-516-1803 here in Boulder www.wishgardenherbs.com

ENJOY!

WHAT IS GOING ON?

August 27, 2009

Depending on the functioning of your rose colored glasses; you may have viewed these past 2 weeks as either very energetically unsettling or as just another time of shifting. Today, I wrote to a dear friend of mine and I shared my wish that the powers to be could put out power surge bulletin reports [...]

The miracle of listening to that little niggle!

August 6, 2009

Two weekends ago, myself and 3500 of my closest “friends”, were enjoying the music at our local amazing Rocky grass festival. For those of you who are not familiar with this music festival; it’s location on the St Vrain river surrounded by stunning red rock canyon walls, make it a magical playground. The moment one [...]

The Joy of Creating Lemonade

July 20, 2009

One of the challenges of being a spirit living in a human body on planet Earth (that in times of irritation I refer to as planet P); lies in the tenet that earthly perfection exists in it’s  asymmetry and imperfection. One only has to closely observe nature to verify this statement Now, for those of [...]

Riding the wave of small changes

July 2, 2009

Lately I have been losing things, frequently used items that provide touchstones in my daily roaming of the planet. The pen. I keep in my date book, my keychain, the top my favorite water bottle. Now, individually  each of these items has little material value. So why do I spend time looking for them?  That [...]
